where you can get boring

Taiwan -BeiTou

The 2nd place to be introduce is the paradise for those love to having the Hot Spring. There are 2 places while is famous with the hot spring, 1 is the PeiTou (北投) and another 1 is at WuLai (烏來). Because PeiTou having a better accessibility where we can reach there simply by their MRT.

There are public and private hot-springs here. The private 1 is actually an hotel where they steaming the spring water into ur room. For the public and outdoor hot spring, u’ll require to bring ur own swim suit. Since i dont bring it and cannot afford an private 1, so let’s go for a public but in door hot spring. Then we had select an old looking public hot-spring nearby.

ya, it`s the wooden hot-spring house. yet, inside the roof was actually broken whereby the sun-ray can penetrate the roof into spring. It`s hard to describe here, just imagine it’s a super old wooden house will do.

I was feeling weird and a little nervous as first time entering the hot-spring. Yes, it`s all naked man inside, and none of them are young -.-” i felt uneasy when they look at me. well, i was entered and what to lose actually, put off all my clothes and prepare to enter the spring.

It was summer when i visit the hot-spring. U can imagine to enter a more than 60 degree hot water in the summer, will u do it? it was too hot for me and i can barely enter my legs inside, but just sit aside and pouring some hot-spring water time to time upon my body. While having myself beside the spring, i try to observe. Yes, all are age of 40++. I think they had get used to the spring as they can stay quite some mins in the water in the summer time, whereby it`s 33 degree outside. Some are sleeping naked and another was exercising their own “little brother” beside the spring -.-”

Nevertheless after the hot-spring bath and go back to the outside, i was felling better as outside is more breezing then inside the spring (outside is still 33 degree Celsius!).

Beside the hot spring, there are some scenic spot we can pay for a visit. There is a hot-spring pool that is famous there. however, during my visit it’s still in maintenance, the entrance was close and cannot enter it. Nevertheless the are a hot-spring museum which can spare some times.

The scenic spot mention just now is the DiReGu, as shown in the picture below:

although we cannot visit the DiReGu, but the small stream from it is just next to the road and there are some family spending the time there.

The water in the river is hot, i think around 40 to 50 degree. Can u see the rocks in the stream is actually in green color? it’s because of the sulfuric of the spring.

Then here is the Hot-spring museum.

There got some free DIY postcard that we can try there for FREE. then y not try it? hehe

And here is another museum for the local.

The side-seeing spot here are less. Perhaps we can spend more time in the hot-spring if we can rent a small room there.

Taiwan – DanShui

Of course there are plenty of places we can visit at Taiwan. Nevertheless, Taipei just happen to had a natural disaster, whereby the Morokot typhoon had swept away some villages along her way. When i was there, i keep hearing how much damage and life if takes, the documentary of the disaster update day and night, politician who involve that incapable to alarm and evacuate the villages in time. Because of the disaster and the limited budget for accommodation and travel, the places i went is not far from Taipei.

The very first place i went outside of Taipei is DanShui (淡水). There is 3 places to be visit: DanShui Old Street, Bali (八里) and DanShui port (漁人碼頭). You could purchase the boat tickets for those 3 places, it`s 110NT at the DanShui old street. Bear in mind that the last shift to Bali is at 3.00pm, as the water level getting lower after 3pm that the small boat cannot depart there.

To get to DanShui is pretty easy. Just get ur ass on the LRT and go for the last stop for DanShui.

Here is some places to visit at DanShui

DanShui old street, it`s a street full with foods and entertainment. The street start to flooding with people at dawn. Dont forget to try the “Ah-Keh” and also the “Teik Dan”, both is the local famous food here listed as not-to-missed snack.

There entrance of the DanShui Old Street

This is where u can buy the ticket or the boat

here is the sample ticket

Remember the Teik Dan? it`s actually the eggs that is harden after some process of cooking. and it got several taste.

and this is the “ah-keh”. it`s actually the tauhu with the noodle inside. Taste okie, but a famous traditional food here.

Along the street, there are many seafood stalls.

For the Bali, it`s more to be a recreational area that the local having the relaxing weekend. There is plenty facilities here, you can sit near the seaside enjoying the sea breeze, barbecue, cycling and site-seeing. There are some few type of bic-cycle there where you can rent and cycle around the area. There is an new museum there which sound interesting, however i didnt make it there cause the limited time and i dont rent a bicycle. -.-”

here is some pic at Bali:
yes, u can also fishing there, but for fun only as i saw what they catch is just some small fish…

bicycling

Barbequing

Place to go at Bali

Me and the statue

Another huge statue at Bali, it seem familiar like the money god, but i believe it`s actually a fisherman with some pose.

For the DanSheui port, there is huge bridge that you must visit. The Bridge also named as the LoversBridge. Beside the bridge, there is a long row of restaurant. It`s not much here beside you can buy some local souvenir, or maybe u can try fishing there at the end of the port. Nevertheless the view before sunset is marvelous. the bridge also will get lighten up and it`s a good view.

Here this is the lovers Bridge at the afternoon

I dont lie, it`s loverBridge

here is the lover bridge at the sunset. However it`s a pic i stolen from my friend.

Some1 making a song using the saw. Yes, the sound it makes is weird, but it`s an art anywhere ^^

here is the house rider team. From them i heard that there are only 3 place at Taiwan still have the house rider guard. It`s been so lucky to see 1.

Lots to come, stay tuned..sorry if late anyhow…hehe

yong@Taipei!

I was sent to Taipei for a short training. It`s really exciting as it is my first time go to Taiwan.

However, i`m sick as i`m coughing at the time i was told i`ll be send to Taiwan. I was worry as the H1N1 disease is spreading widely among the nation, and i`ll be forbidden to enter the Taiwan area. However, when i was walking through the body temperature scanner at the custom, i was allow to enter without any checking. ^^

After get my own luggage, the next thing is to send myself to the booked hotel. I`m taking a cab as i can claims from the company, lucky for that. Basically to get myself to the Taipei area, it`ll cost around 1400NT.

After around 45 mins, i was sent to my hotel: Grand Hyatt hotel, which is a 5 star hotel! How the hotel? See for urself!

This was took from the entrance door

This is the room

This is the bathroom

Can you guess how much it`ll cost? It`s 5500NT per day! It`s around RM550 per day! Plus the price is actually offer to those who`ll stay more than 14 days. It`s so expensive that if doesn’t supported by company, i`m sure not gonna take the room. But it`s worth, as the services is very good, beside the breakfast, there is also an offer for the dinner for some snacks and most importantly is the unlimited alcohol! We can just drink whatever u wan, from normal beer, cocktails to tacqila! but it`s only until 8pm…quite unsatisfied with that..

How`s Taiwan look like? It`s really comfortable as i have no language problem here and most important, there are really many beautiful girls around the street! It`s felling great even sit beside the road just watching the gal walking here and there, hehe.

My hotel is just next to the 101 building. To be precise, it`s just next block to the PWTC Taipei and to 101 Taipei.

This is the interior of the 101 Taipei building.

Newyork newyork, there was a event from the artist

The performer, he will only move if you paid him, or he just stand there without moving a finger

A famous shopping center at Taipei

and i saw this when i was looking for the night market. It`s using the name of JayChao for brand, but dont think it`s actually open by JayChao.

Here is the night market i looking for

It`s also known as TongHua street night market, 15 minutes from my hotel. It got a lot of snacks and drinks along the market.

Here is the BuDai show at Taiwan, which is traditional show perform to the audience with the doll, just like “wayang kulit” at Malaysia.

There`s a lot to tell, but yet i`m not good in English that i hardly describe in english. Stay tuned for more update from me. ^^
