Police? or Thief?
Today on my way back from Jalan bukit bintang to Setapak through jalan tun razak, while driving on my 10 years old motor, there come a malays, around 30+ years old, driving his motor come to my right hand side and want me to stop at the road side. His just wearing the normal shirts and according the the news or whatever press u had come across, bad guys always doing it the same way, just want u to be stop and then rob u! Got myself a relative recently came across a robbery at ipoh too remind me what the hell also dont stop.
Of course i’d try to speed up, cutting some of the cars, running from that malay. Who the hell that he have a gangster of another 2 motor rider try to push me to the road side by one go in front, 1 on my left hand side and another at behind.
Wow, that`s pretty scary cause it was at the underground tunnel of jalan tun razak where they try to stop me. i had no way to run cause they have 3 motor dragging me to the road side, and i`m alone!
No choice, have to stop to heard and ready for some action. Luckily they show me their police ID after i had stop immediately or it`ll pretty freaking. Anyhow their police ID is just some yellow paper with their name and some statement that they are actually police. Isn’t it the police ID should look alike with out ID card or something rather then just some yellow paper? well, i don’t really know.
Well, i’m really relief that i`m actually just got a random checking by the police then rather drop in another sub-news about a robbery at the road next day. The polices said that they were trying to putting down the criminals in the KL city as it have increase dramatically now a days. But bear in mind that their way to doing it if rather making someone worry about a robbery rather then a police checking, am i right? Does it effective to have a random check that way? i`m doubt it.
Well, i`m pretty lucky today as it was actually a police checking. If you had somehow see some pulling u to to road side while driving, it is still advice to keep driving and try to reach the nearby police station anyhow.
Hatyai 3D2N
Well, so call business trip sound like a leisure holiday for me, hehe. Me and another colleague was sent to Hatyai for the data verification.
We are the first timer to cross the border of Malaysia-Thailand at Bukit Kayu Hitam. Just follow the North-South Highway and you can reach the custom without losing your way. If you are driven there, you should have your car park after passing the Malaysia custom, and before the Thailand custom. There is a duty-free shopping complex and you can park you car inside with normal parking rate. I was park before the Malaysia custom and it was suffer to walk to the Thailand custom under the hot sun! At the duty-free zone, you can hire a car to enter the Hatyai city.
It took 1 hours to go to Hatyai. You can ask your driver while driving to the Hatyai to find you a travel agent for the vouchers. The vouchers work as a discount for hotel, compare you just walk in to the hotel. You just need to determine which hotel you want and purchase the voucher for the hotel. We was spent our time at Lee Garden hotel.
The hotel is just locate at the central of the Hatyai city. Nearby you can find shopping center, local market and most importantly is the food was variable but not cheap, as it is a tourist spot. The hotel itself was okie, but for my friend is complaining that the aircon was actually hot, haha. Here is how it look outside of the hotel from the window
Place to visit at Hatyai? well, you know, i`m not going there for a holiday actually, so the places i went was limited. Here is the list:
1) First place to visit for sure is the Tourist Information counter. I had mark it at the Googlemap. But you cannot get much information from there, if only you can speak their language very well. But they do have the a better map introducing the tourist spot of Thailand compare to the one you can get from the hotel. Worth a visit as a first comer to Hatyai.
2) Kimyong market. It`s actually a small daily market place at Hatyai. Nothing much for a visit but you can find some food and fruits there.
3) Yongde, Suntisuk and Asia Market. It`s also a local market similar to the Petaling street of KL. It`s relatively having a narrow walking path and selling some souvenirs, fruits, local food, electonics and clothes. Worth a visit by the way.
4) Clock Tower and Fountain Circle. It`s the landmark of the Hatyai and clearly pointed in the tourist map, however, you`ll surely disappointing if you reach there. It just a landmark for the transportation, nothing much special.
5) Tiger shows. Is it a must to visit Thailand? You can easily get to it as many local “guide” can lead you to the tiger shows. I`m not sure if it`s the same or there is several tiger shows in Hatyai. What you can see there? Amazing! First you can see some young gals dancing at the stage which is quite normal. Then some magic performance which is so boring. After that it change to what normally audience wish to see, a live love making at the stage. No to miss some stripper performance and pole dances. Naked shower in the so call “bathroom”. Man playing their weapon as a drum stick. Woman opening the bottle cap, hide the whole egg and some exercises with their vagina. yes, most of the time, Naked! the whole performance is eye opening, and yes, you should not miss it at Thailand.
5) Aquarium. Not the aquarium that have fish inside, but the girls inside. It works really similar to how you pick the pet -.-” The Hamsap Lou sit and observe their pet and finger point here point there for discussion. And the “fish” sitting there like nothing happen by keep watching their spiderman movie in the TV inside the a large mirror and bright aquarium.
6) Temple. Yes, there are some temple worth to visit. But since it`s temple, don`t aspect much from it. See the pic i attached for the temple i had visit.

Alien words for me…

God of prosperity!

Here come a tall building, i challege you to climb it if you there. It`s exhausting!

7) Pub. I had forgot the name of the pub i visit. But it`s quite nice that there are live band every night. That pub smoking free as smoker need to get out of the pub just to smoke. The toilet have a massage service and hot towel, so be prepare some small bath money for the tips -.-”.
Dut Dut car. A not to missed at Thailand. At Hatyai, it`s actually a van that had modified to fit in more passenger. Btw, each trip is 20Bath, circling in the Hatyai town.
Nothing much beside that, i didn`t go to Songkhla Town so you can aspect more then my experiences if you go there. Here is the money i left before i can spend…invite me if you plan go Bangkok!
Lastly but also interesting is the Panorama i done at the temple. Enjoy!
